Hi again cyber space! Tomorrow is hopefully the last day of lockdown here in Brisbane. This would be quite fantastic news since it would mean we can celebrate Easter like “normal” this year. There are no super exciting plans for Easter though, just catching up with family via Skype and maybe going for a hike or two.
One thing I have struggled with this lockdown is working from home. I can’t get in the flow of working in the apartment. I guess I miss the office and hopefully the office misses me too (possums – don’t get too comfortable not having people around!).
I got a chance to take some photos and make some videos on Saturday and Sunday before the lockdown. I will try to find the time to put a video together during the Easter break. I met up with my friend Merrille on the Saturday and our catch-up turned into a 7 hour lunch date. We had a super cosy time exploring South Bank and the Botanic Gardens together.
This was my face when I heard the news about the lockdown 🙁 🙁 🙁 I totally understand why we need to do it, but I’m so sick of this rona life.
And this has been my face the last 3 days hehe.
Happy Lily watching all the dogs walking by the river.
Hi there little collie puppy!
A sky in flames and 234 photos later. Jarryd’s tummy started growling like a grizzly bear which meant it was time to leave the Brisbane river for this time and get some dinner.
Hi everyone! I’m going to spend my last hours of this weekend putting together a video from yesterday, prepare some D&D stuff with Jarryd and cook a vegetarian stew for dinner. A post about last week will soon pop up here on the blog, but until then, please enjoy yesterday’s beautiful sunset from our balcony. Cheers!
