During my stay in Kalbarri in Western Australia I did a hiking and rock climbing in the National Park. This place felt typical Australian with the red sand and rocks (and probably hundreds of snakes hiding from the sun and clumpsy tourists) . Since it gets very hot during the day I recommend doing the trail early in the morning. And make sure to bring water! It can be slightly steep during some distances, but nothing too extreme. If you have time, money and courage you should definitely try the rock climbing at the Promenade, which is also situated in the National Park. I don’t think I have ever been saying so many bad words in one minute as I did when I tried this. But it was so much fun!
